FASHION FOR A CAUSE

Fitting room inside the Fashion Incubator Macy's San Francisco

Yesterday I had the awesome opportunity to finally meet in person Stephanie Bodnar, the San Francisco designer behind Honey Cooler Handmade. [Check out the post I did earlier this year featuring Honey Cooler HERE.] Her vintage-inspired lingerie doesn't just look beautiful, everything feels like a little piece of heaven. I was SOOOO lucky to have a brief fit session and try on the loveliest, softest pieces. So much fun...I'm a sucker for playing dress-up!

I also got to have a fit session trying on Michelle K Byrnes swimwear. Another designer part of the event that this entire fit session was in preparation for...here's a sneak peek!

So, WHAT is this all about?

A Fashion Show benefitting the Fight 2 Breath Organization. Specifically doing our small part to help a 23 year old young lady named Caleigh Haber in her fight with Cystic Fibrosis, and her journey towards a double-lung transplant. She fights for every breath. And she shouldn't have to.

Stepping out of my comfort zone for this one. And I feel good about it. Prancing around in swimwear & lingerie is usually reserved just for the hubbs, but I'll gladly strut my stuff for a good cause, a great cause!

So, come out and enjoy brunch, music and a light fashion show and help Caleigh reach her goal. Stop by and say hi! The ShopSaveSequins team would love to see you and have your support.
