Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar Arrives in Palo Alto at Stanford Shopping Center

Last Friday night we decided to go check out the latest arrival to the ever-changing Stanford Shopping Center - Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar.

I've definitely heard of the Fleming's chain but had yet to step into one of their fine establishments. Fleming's in Palo Alto has opened up on the El Camino entrance to Stanford Shopping Center, and you can't miss it...it's huge!

I have to admit, I was surprised at how BIG this place is and sitting in the very center of one of their dining rooms definitely made me feel on display...lol...I'm a booth kinda gal. Sitting in the center of the room gave me a view of almost the entire venue. Dimly-lit for dinner, it was a nice atmosphere and very busy...they do not seem to have any issue filling up the large space.

I was skeptical about how the service and food would play out, but I was pleasantly surprised. Our wine choices were fabulous and the food was even better. We weren't trying to have a heavy meal so we found the "small plates" section accommodating. We went with the sliced filet and the short rib. Both were absolutely delectable.

Most certainly enjoyed ourselves and now Fleming's would like to offer the opportunity for ONE of my local Bay Area readers to also enjoy a fabulous meal at their new Palo Alto location.
